“You sure you wanna do this yo’ self?” My homeboy asked me.
“I ain’t never been so sure of something in my life. If you would have did what you was supposed to do last time, I wouldn’t have to do this shit,” I said to him.
“That wasn’t my fault.”
“It was yo’ fault. You knew what the job was and you didn’t fulfill it,” I said getting pissed all over again. He had one simple task and he couldn’t get it done, ultimately making me go back to the drawing board.
“I tried to. Shit just ain’t work out the way I planned,” he said.
“You trying got us sitting right here right now. Now, let’s do this shit before we run out of time,” I said as I cut my car off.
“A’ight man,” he said as he pulled a pistol from his waist.
We both looked in the mirror to make sure nobody was outside. When we was confident nobody was out, we put our ski masks, sunglasses, and our hoods on our heads and checked our ammo before we got out of the car. With guns in hand, we raced up to the door of a well-known trap house. This particular house made a killing every day. So much money was going in and out of the house that they operated all day and all night. The operation was hurting my pockets and I didn’t like slow money, so I had to put it out of business.
Once we made it to the door, I sent my homie around to the back of the house. I had somebody on the inside of the house that hit me and told me he sent the two lookouts on a food run. We had about a twenty-minute window to get in, get the dope and money, and then get out. I wasn’t trying to get caught by the lookouts. They had a shoot first ask questions never mentality and I knew if they saw us, the only way we would leave the spot was with bullet riddled bodies. I wasn’t ready to die, so the shit needed to be done in a timely manner.
I knocked on the door and waited for an answer. After a few seconds, no one answered, so I knocked again. This time, I could hear somebody walking to the door.
“Who is it?” A man’s voice said from the other side of the door.
“It’s me. I need a fix,” I said disguising my voice to sound like a fiend. I had my head down holding some singles because I knew he would look through the peephole to see who it was. I figured if he saw money, he wouldn’t be suspicious. I was right. He cracked the door, I raised my gun, and I pushed my way inside.
“Son of a bitch!” he said as I pressed my gun up against his temple.
Bow!
I let off a shot and his body dropped to the ground. I stepped over him and walked further into the house. I saw my homeboy holding two niggas at gunpoint in the living room.
